Yeah opinions are only opinions. But there are right and wrong opinions. This hypothesis comes down to education. Say there is a bluegrass band playing and 2 people are watching them pick and grin. One person who has a phd in music theory and has played bluegrass for 20 years, and the other person listens to top 40 and thinks big and rich rule. This latter person can't really pick out individual sounds of different instruments, but rather just think it sounds cool.
One of those persons opinion probably could be considered a bit more right than the other . . correct?
or are opinions just opinions?
or am I thinking that opinions are a form of criticism?
Constructive criticism with the first person . . . criticism that goes in one ear and out the other with the second person.
ponder. let me know.
happy hump day.

Yeah but the one who "just thinks it sounds cool" will be the one who buys the cd.
Opinions are just that opinions. Numerous people can have diferent opinions about the same thing. One should be open to all opinions BUT that doesn't mean you have to agree with the opinion.
this dual blogging thing is confusing me ... who? what? where?
i think it all boils down to liking or disliking a certain kind of music doesn't make you more or less of a person. :) it just makes you have different taste than others. opinions are opinions and unless it's creating a health and safety issue for you or someone you love, live and let live. embrace the diversity. :)
