That was a blast!

The wedding went off well, minus the wedding Nazi "honeybear". The pics took quite a long time and some of the folks left. And the limo didn't show, but . . . what wedding doesn't have its kinks? I had a blast, and was very happy to see everyone that showed up. I know that friend's wedding can be somewhat of an inconvenience, but if you are a friend, you trudge through and act like you like it. I have to say that Ryan Callaway won the prize . . he travelled 11 hours to be there, and then he and Mike VanLeer gave us a mucho generous gift. Thanks guys, you rock. Thanks to my best man and to all the other best men that were there. Thanks to Red, even though he didn't know about it. Sorry some of it was a pain, but again, friends trudge through it. Thanks again to everyone.

The honeymoon fuckin ruled. No new snow, but it was still gorgious. That lake is amazing. Clear for 100 feet. Clearest water that I have ever seen. Took a big paddle boat ride across the lake, walked on a frosted sandy beach, toured around town, took in alot of scenery, stomped in some snow, drank and ate mucho bueno, Cabo wabo and a hooka, Hard Rock Cafe, got messages, and just all around pampered ourselves. Oh and met some cool dudes from Minnesota that gave us a bit of a hook up. ;-) Which was very nice.

All in all a kick ass time.

Now back to reality.
For 2 days.
Because my break starts Wednesday!

So . . its almost here!!!!

Man, I am so fuckin stoked.
I am a bit stressed about making sure I get everything handled. Lets go through the list. Its prolly not much really.

1. Make sure everyone gets their tuxes.
2. Make sure everyone gets their tuxes back. . . including mine, but I think C's mom is doing that for me.
3. Get a room for T and his Family.
4. Wrap the groomsmen and ushers gifts.
5. Write a letter to someone that has changed my life, to be read during the ceremony.
6. Pack for the honeymoon.
7. Relax. . Enjoy. . all of it.
8. Be very very thankful.
9. Call Reno airport and reserve a shuttle ride to Tahoe.
10. Make sure the house and Ginge is properly attended to and left in a nice fashion. (Thanks Ryin, Robert, and Craig, and whoever else may have to let Ginge out).
11. Make sure bills are paid.

Tomorrow, then the 19th and 20th. Then its Christmas Break for us University employees until January 2nd.

Whew . . . 2 full days later.

Finally, I am starting to feel myself today. I know you supposed to get all screwed up on your bachelor party, but fuck around!! Almost 3 days to recover! That is bullshit. Guess I just can't handle my drinking binges like I used too. But now with a clean bathroom from someone doing an exorsist puke, a diminished swollen lip, and an amazing night sleep, I am starting to feel like a new man, or at least the man I was before the bachelor party.

So, now . . I gotta do some shopping for my usher/groomsmen gifts today, since everything that I ordered online was out of stock. . . also gotta get the song my dad wrote for my mom to Nathan for him to learn and sing on Saturday. Then probably tomorrow, go try on my tux and check that out. Then its family time, run around get some other errands handled, NOT work on Friday, then get hitched and go to Tahoe.

This is gonna rock n roll.

I can never do that again. I still feel like shit and now I have fever blisters from my system being all out of whack. Two 6am nights and never ending alcoholic binge, made me a sick man.

But it was damn fun. Thanks to everyone that came out.

now, I need some sleep and some water.
and hope these fever blisters go away before the wedding!

I feel like me again.

Man, last night was definitely needed. It was a fantastic show. Travis and Brandon kicked ass. And yes, I was "Mr. Wobbles" by the end of the night. I just stood there with a huge smile on my face, soakin up the live music. I feel complete again with some live music time in me. It was actually cool to have the 2 weeks off, because it made me appreciate it more.

So, that was a blast.
Then, the department threw me a surprise wedding shower today. . . . but for a guy. It was a tool party. And I got a ton of cool shit. Laser level, socket set, tool boxes, bolt cutters, hacksaw, nail gun, vise, etc. So, my day has been bad ass.

Now, I am want to get home and take apart, put together, and fix something.

a night at home with my lady sounds perfect.

Then I gotta get ready for the party this weekend. I'm stoked.

My Dreams say its time to see some music.

So, the night before last, I had a dream that Mr. Jake Moffat started playing again and opened for Billy Joe Shaver at supposedly the Tumbleweed, but it looked more like a broken down rat hole bar. Then last night, I was dual drumming with Tommy Lee. He was actually singing, and I was playing with his drummer now . . but he was looking back at me and diggin what I was throwin' down.

So, I am in need of some live fuckin music. BAD! I will get my fix at the dog tonight.

Then a night off on Thursday to clean house, then its on like donkey kong this weekend.

Looks like the Brandon Jenkins Benefit went off well. Alot of musicians were there and looks like it was a blast for everyone. Jason looks great! Hopefully they were able to get Brandon and crew a leg up on getting all there shit back. Theives are some of the worst fuckin people in the world. We all work hard to get what we have, and they just come along, break in to a trailer and steal the TOOLS that musicians use to make a living. Bastards.

Anyway, I am going to check out Brandon and Linville at the dog tomorrow.

Its been over 2 full weeks since I have seen any live music. I am jonesin'.

I love it, and am going to miss it. Truely I will, but they are touring alot now, so hopefully I will catch them again. And what better excuse than to be on my honeymoon in Lake Tahoe. I think I can be okay with that!

That drive was not fun, but definitely worth it.

This was it. After 10 hours of either snow packed roads, black ice, white outs, or not knowing where the road is . . to later on when it was just sleeting and raining and then worrying about hydroplaning . . . Caroline about had to pry my fingers off of the damn steering wheel. I am sore today from being so tense for so long. BUT, even though it sucked, it was completely worth it to see my family. It was a great trip! And I think that meeting the rest of my family gave Caroline a little more insight into why I am the way I am. Gots a crazy side and a serious side. And its been a hell of a ride trying to find out a balance, but now finally at 28, I think I have found it.

Anyway, got a bach party this weekend.
Then our wedding!!! Yeah!
then the honeymoon, then Caroline's sister's family will be here and they will have a baby, then christmas break, then Caroline's bday, then New Year's.
Gonna be a busy December . . well, fun busy, relaxing busy.

All is well.
I'm just glad we got home safe.
